...easy as 1, 2, 3

Today's all about the ABC's. I was in the subway the other day and I noticed that the MoMA has a new exhibit (running until June 15, 2009) titled Tangled Alphabets. Latin American artists León Ferrari and Mira Schendel have a series of works addressing language as the main subject matter. It looks quite interesting- everyone should check it out [sidenote: the Frank Lloyd Wright exhibit at the Guggenheim starts this Friday].

Meanwhile, I've had a couple other ABC's sitting around in a folder waiting to talk about. The first are the Spinning ABC stools by Esther Ermers. She took a rotating typeface to produce these stools. Obviously, 26 in all- one for each letter. The other, just some fun paperclips from Stephen Reed Design.
