Hmm... this was quite interesting. Artist Lee Gainer has put together a collection of images "investigating the evolution" of the engagement ring. It's based on the idea that the groom should be spending at least two months salary on the ring that he chooses. There are twenty prints each with the occupation and nine rings based on the average salary for these jobs. They mostly look the same which I was actually surprised about. Check them all out here.
