Objectified

Yesterday I went to a screening of the documentary Objectified at the Cooper-Hewitt museum. The movie is done by Gary Huswit- the same guy who made the Helvetica documentary. I don't care how you see this movie but you really should. It was really interesting to think about the design of everyday objects.

Helvetica

I love helvetica. I love its complete simplicity over all other fonts. It's like the ultimate modernism font... and I just found out that it has its very own movie! The trailer looks really interesting and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. It's really just showing that helvetica is everywhere in our lives. The keyboard I'm typing this on is helvetica! There's a New York screening next Thursday which is (sadly) already sold out. Bummerrr
