Last night I went out to Park Slope to see Free Energy play with Jenn. They were a lot of fun even though like no one was there. BUT they played at the Bell House which aparently hasn't been open in Brooklyn very long. It was a good venue and could potentally be awesome if it was packed. The hilight for me though was dinner before a little Italian restaurant a few blocks down called Bar Tano. It was food was really good but I loved the fact that the whole restaurant was covered in painted pressed tin. I'm not sure if I'll ever venture back there but it's worth it if you're around.
